Persistent Attributes

For attributes that should have their value kept in place in the final CoA dimension between syncs with target dimension attributes cleaning switched on, there is a special attribute defining their value persistence stored against NO ACCOUNT/AttrValue measure (see AttrValue paragraph below for details on how Persistent Attributes are flagged in the }APQ C3 FIN CoA Map cube).

Persistence Mechanism

Attribute values are saved to a backup copy (_Backup suffix) of the template CoA dimension to the }APQ C3 FIN CoA Map cube before changes to the template dimension are provided. Values of the persistent attributes are then recovered by reading the values from the backup copy and writing them back to a AttrValue slice for the CoA template dimension.
