Template Dimension FIN CoA Map
The template dimension FIN CoA Map
contains templates for each element in FIN CoA ID
represented by hierarchies with the same name, while default hierarchy contains only one special element used to define attributes related to the entire CoA template dimension.
The final CoA dimension structure is always based on the structure of a template dimension and is composed of several parts. The relationships between elements are determined by the relationships of elements in the template dimension. These relationships exist within a hierarchy that aligns with the target dimension. It’s crucial to understand that all elements in the template dimension are consolidated. This consolidation is necessary for technical reasons, as it allows for the reuse of each element in any of the dimension hierarchies.
As for above reason, element types are stored in the template cube as ElType
attribute values per each element (stored against String
measure).
There is a special leaf element NO ACCOUNT
defined in the default hierarchy of the dimension to store definitions of attributes for each template CoA dimension (this should be the only leaf level element present in the FIN CoA Map
dimension).
