Inactivate Funds
This screen allows you to create additional reporting levels where you can shift individual funds (or groups of funds) in and out of. This provides and easy way to report on the portfolio including or excluding certain investments.
How to use the functionality
Add Active/Inactive flag to funds in Screen.
If fund is flagged as INACTIVE then it should be visible in the portfolio but have zero weight and have no effect in results (in all hierarchies except scenario reporting which is completely manual). It means that the data from inactive funds doesn't flow to any subtotals. i.e. they don't count.
The inactivation is immediate.
the Scenario can also impact the historic performance if a fund is set “inactive”. The inactivation doesn't apply to a specific snapshot. It applies to all versions.
Please make sure to set the fund back to “active” after the scenario planning
