The Update Flags process will calculate the system attributes in the staging area. This process is automatically run every time the Sync Dimension process is executed.

Override: Override the existing value of the attribute.

Mapping Flags: Update the Planning attribute (Plan Map ID). If the Planning CoA has been initialised, then set this parameter to Yes.

Add Dummy Accounts: When this parameter is set to Yes, dummy leaf element will be added under any consolidated elements that does not have component. This allows you to enter plan assumptions when there is no accounts consolidated element.

Update Hierarchies: Update the Apliqo FPM technical rollups. The default setting is Yes.

Automating the Update Flags

If you have automated the synchronising of the Operational CoA you will need to add an Automation Step to Update Flags of the system attributed.
