2.4. Planning Data Integration

The FIN General Ledger data will be extracted, transformed, and loaded into other cubes, such as the FIN Revenue Planning, FIN Expenses Planning, and the FIN Balance Sheet Planning cubes, to complete financial forecasts and budgets. In these planning cubes, the year-to-date actuals may be aggregated to a higher level of business segments rollup and/or the Chart of Accounts. The financial forecast or budget is then submitted and copied back into the FIN General Ledger cube for reporting. The flow data is managed by roundtrip configurations.
