Asymmetric Drill NEW FEATURE
The Asymmetric Drill is a new feature that can be enabled in the advanced options for tables, allowing users to expand and collapse consolidated elements selectively when working with two stacked dimensions.
This is an improvement over the previous approach, where expanding one element would automatically expand all related ones. With Asymmetric Drill, users can now navigate complex data more precisely, enhancing control and customization in data exploration.
Submit button improvements
In this release, the Submit button has been significantly upgraded to improve filters management.
It now features live tracking of changes made to global filter selections. This improvement includes support for cascading filters - meaning that if a change in one filter triggers a change in another, both adjustments will be counted towards the total.
To ensure clarity the change count will be reset if you revert to the original filter values, reflecting only the current data displayed. Note that the tracking feature will only become active once changes are applied.
Additionally, button can be customized through the advanced options GUI, allowing modifications to the label, icon and class.
Cube Viewer widget: Apply Changes NEW FEATURE
The Apply Changes button in the cube viewer widget is a new feature that appears when auto-refresh is disabled, giving users more control over when data updates are applied.
It tracks changes made to global filter selections, row and column configurations and zero suppression settings. Each modification within a single filter, is counted as one change until applied. This provides users with clear visibility on the number of changes made, ensuring precise management of the data being viewed.
Subset Editor: Remove Duplicates improvements
Remove Duplicates button in the subset editor automatically removes all duplicated elements from the current selection. This feature simplifies the process of ensuring that only unique elements are included, making it easier to maintain clean and accurate data sets.
View Column Divider NEW FEATURE
New feature in the advanced options allows users to include a spacer column before each SubView in a table. When activated, empty column will be automatically inserted between SubViews or merged widgets, enhancing the table's readability.
Export to PNG NEW FEATURE
A new option under the export menu now allows users to export grid widgets and views as PNG images.
This feature enhances the ability to share and present data visually, providing a quick and convenient way to generate high-quality images of your tables and views for reporting or presentations.
