Standard Subsets
Standard subsets exist for all dimensions.
Subset Name | Subset Purpose |
All Elements | A subset that contains all the elements of the dimension. |
All N Elements | A subset that contains all the leaf elements of the dimension. |
All N Element Code | A subset that contains all the leaf elements in the dimension using the default alias for the dimension. |
All C Elements | A subset that contains all the consolidated elements in the dimension. |
Top Elements | A subset that contains all the elements of the dimension that do not have a parent. |
Default Member | A subset containing the default member of the dimension. |
Renaming a Standard Subset
The standard subsets can be renamed at Administration > Subsets > Standard Subsets. In the Global Setting tab, rename the Standard Subset name as required.
Click on Update Subsets to rebuild the Standard Subsets. This will not delete any of existing Standard Subsets using the previous name.
Removing a Standard Subset
To remove a standard subset from Apliqo FPM, remove the name of the subset in the Global Settings tab. Click on Update Subset to rebuild all the standard subsets.
A subset cannot be removed if it is being used by a view. The Update Subset process will produce an error message if this is the case. These messages can be ignored or resolved by deleting or changing the views that are dependent on the subset.
Managing Standard Subset by Dimension
Standard Subsets can be excluded for a dimension. In the Dimension tab of the Standard Subset page, click the Standard Subset that is to be excluded from the dimension. Click on Update for the dimension to remove the standard subset from the dimension. A subset cannot be removed if it is being used by a view. The Update Subset process will produce an error message if this is the case. These messages can be ignored or resolved by deleting or changing the views that are dependent on the subset.
The Default Alias and the Default Member can set for the dimension. These settings are used by the ‘All N Element Code’ and ‘Default Member’ standard subsets.
