ApliqoFPM Installer - Windows
Prerequisites
A current version of TM1 / Planning Analytics needs to be installed.
Run the installer
Execute the provided installer executable. Click Next> and agree to the License Agreement.
Select the components you would like to install. If you are installing Apliqo FPM for the first time you will have to select "Install Apliqo Server" and "Create New Application". Optionally you can also install the "Demo Applications" (currently available "FPM Demo").
Specify the installation folder (default is C:\ApliqoServer).
Define the a port number for the Apliqo Application Server and the maximum memory. In most cases the default settings should be sufficient.
Install new FPM environment
If you have opted to install a new environment of Apliqo FPM you will have to define a few things. A FPM instance consists of the following parts:
The webapp name (defaults to "ApliqoFPM" will be part of the URL that is used to access Apliqo FPM in your webbrowser (e.g.
http://localhost:8880/ApliqoFPM )
The content store TM1 instance is the database that stores Apliqo FPM apps and your own reports.
The FPM TM1 instance is the actual database that holds the business logic and stores your organisation's data and metadata.
We recommend to create a root directory with two subfolders, e.g. "contentStore" and "ApliqoFPM", to install the two TM1 instances in.
Select the location to install the content store instance in. For all other parameters the default values should be sufficient in most cases.
Select the location to install the FPM instance in. For all other parameters the default values should be sufficient in most cases.
The settings in the next step should only be adjusted if you made any changes to the installation parameters in the previous step (e.g. changed the port number). The FPM TM1 model name needs to remain as "ApliqoFPM" in any case for the application to function correctly.
Change the start menu folder location if desired and click "Install". If a previous installation of Apliqo FPM (or Apliqo UX) is detected you will be asked to uninstall this version, which the installer will handle for you if you confirm this step.
The installer will automatically install and attempt to start the necessary Windows services. Click "Finish" and wait for the services to start. You should be directed to your web browser and see the Apliqo login screen after a short while.
