The this section we are going to build the FIN BSEG 2 Plan dimension from the FIN BSEG 2 dimension. We want to plan one level higher in the FIN BSEG 2 Plan to what the level of detail is in the FIN BSEG 2 dimension. We only want to use the FIN BSEG 2 Plan dimension for Expense planning.

FIN BSEG 2 Plan Settings

Click on the [Settings]

Set the Global settings for FIN BSEG 2 Plan. Click on [Update Captions] to apply the caption change.

Set the FIN Revenue settings for FIN BSEG 2 Plan.

Set the FIN Expense settings for FIN BSEG 2 Plan.

Set the FIN Balance Sheet settings for FIN BSEG 2 Plan.

Set the Plan Mapping

There is too much detail in the Customer business segment. We want to plan to level 1 of the Total Customer rollup. So Customers can be ignored for planning purposes.
