The this section we are going to build the FIN BSEG 1 Plan dimension from the FIN BSEG 1 dimension. We want to plan one level higher in the FIN BSEG 1 Plan to what the level of detail is in the FIN BSEG 1 dimension. We only want to use the FIN BSEG 1 Plan dimension for Expense planning.

FIN BSEG 1 Plan Settings

Click on the [Settings].

Set the Global settings for FIN BSEG 1 Plan. Click on [Update Captions] to apply the caption change.

Set the FIN Revenue settings for FIN BSEG 1 Plan. We are not use this planning for Revenue planning.

Set the FIN Expense settings for FIN BSEG 1 Plan. We are using this planning dimension for Expense planning.

Set the FIN Balance Sheet settings for FIN BSEG 1 Plan. We are not use this planning for Balance Sheet planning.

Set the Plan Mapping

There is too must detail in the Cost Center business segment. We want to plan to level 1 of the Total Cost Centre rollup. So Cost Centers can be ignore for planning purposes.
