In this section, we are going to set up Client Groups Security.

NOTE: What a client sees and does in Apliqo FPM is managed by security groups. Each security group has the permissions to the underlying database to perform that role. There are two types of security groups in Apliqo FPM, security groups that define the Role the client is be performed in Apliqo FPM and security groups that define the Responsibility within the Role.
The Roles security groups are predefined in Apliqo FPM. As the FPM Administrator you are a member of the FPM Module Admin role. Attached to the FPM Module Admin role, are the permissions to see pages in the Apliqo FPM website, the ability to read from and write to the cubes and run processes that affect the data and metadata in the database. Each Role has different permissions depending on the role of the security group.
The roles that are predefined in Apliqo FPM.

APQ User | Everyone must be a member of the APQ User role. This role gives a client the minimum permissions to interact with Apliqo FPM. |
FPM BS CapEx Mgr | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Capital Expenditure Planning module with elevated privileges. |
FPM BS CapEx Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Capital Expenditure Planning module. |
FPM BS Debt Mgr | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Debt Planning module with elevated privileges. |
FPM BS Debt Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Debt Planning module. |
FPM BS Mgr | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Balance Sheet Planning module with elevated privileges. |
FPM BS Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Balance Sheet Planning module. |
FPM Exp Marketing Manager | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Marketing Planning module with elevated privileges. This group may be used in conjunction with FPM Exp Mgr group. |
FPM Exp Marketing Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Marketing Planning module. This group may be used in conjunction with FPM Exp Planning group. |
FPM Exp Mgr | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Expense Planning module with elevated privileges. |
FPM Exp Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Expense Planning module. |
FPM Exp TandE Mgr | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Travel and Entertainment Planning module with elevated privileges. This group may be used in conjunction with FPM Exp Mgr group. |
FPM Exp TandE Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Travel and Entertainment Planning module. This group may be used in conjunction with FPM Exp Planning group. |
FPM Exp Workforce Mgr
| Has access to the Apliqo FPM Workforce Planning module with elevated privileges. This group may be used in conjunction with FPM Exp Mgr group. |
FPM Exp Workforce Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Workforce Planning module. This group may be used in conjunction with FPM Exp Planning group. |
FPM GL Consumer | Has read only access to the reports in Apliqo FPM. |
FPM Module Admin | Is the administrator of Apliqo FPM. |
FPM Rev Mgr | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Revenue Planning module with elevated privileges. |
FPM Rev Planner | Has access to the Apliqo FPM Revenue Planning module. |

Add a client
A user password must be at least 8 characters long
From the }APQ Clients side, you can :
Change users password
View user's activity
View user's information
Set user's as inactive
From the Assignment Groups side you can manage group security for each user: ADD/Remove/Copy/Assign a user to one or multiple groups.

Add a new security group - Click on Add Group button, input the name, and click on Add Group button from the popup

Assign a client to a group.
New clients are assigned to the required minimum user groups. A client must be assigned to additional groups to access the Apliqo FPM modules.

To remove a client from a group, unassign the group from the client then apply the change.
Inactivate a client.
There are times when a client should temporarily not have access to Apliqo FPM. By making a client inactive, their access to Apliqo FPM is removed without affecting their assignments. The client can easily be made active again with their original assignments.

Blocked clients
Some clients cannot be made inactive. This is managed in the Blocked Client popup.
Deleting an inactive client.
A client needs to be made inactive before they can be deleted.
