  • Rebuild Option

    • Incremental Update: Will only add new accounts but not change existing rollups or delete any elements from the actual dimension

    • Uwind: This is the default option. All parent-child relationships will be resolved and reconstructed based on the mapping changes you have made. If you have deleted accounts in the GUI they will still persist in the actual CoA dimension, i.e. you will have a chance to re-create and map them into the structure without loosing any data that has been stored against those elements.

    • Delete all elements: Use this option only if you have intentionally deleted elements and want to remove them from the actual dimension. Make sure that the content of the staging dimension is up-to-date. If elements are deleted all associated data will be deleted as well.

  • Update Hierarchies: Will reconstruct the Apliqo FPM technical rollups, this option should normally be turned on (default).

  • Override Element Type: Turn this option on if you have changed element types (from C to N or the other way around). This is a safety feature in case the type change happened unintentionally. Changing a former N element to a C element will lead to the loss of any data stored against the former N element.

  • Remove empty consolidations : When turned on empty consolidated elements will be removed from the account dimension. This can be useful when you have a big structure that has a lot of nodes that no GL accounts are (yet) mapped to.

After executing the process by clicking "Sync" you will see a toast notification about updating KPI rules if required. Please note that before attempting to synchronise the CoA dimension for the first time you must map at least the mandatory fixed accounts (see section below), otherwise you will receive an error message.
