Click on [Build Dimension] to update the FIN Company dimension.
Create a new Subset
Select Company from the sidebar.
Click on the Subsets button, a dropdown will appear with three options: Dynamic, Static, and Standard.
Static Subset:
Click on the + sign to create a new subset, input a name for it, and click the “check” button.
Click on the new subset. From the middle part select which elements to include in the subset(you can select one or multiple elements).
Click on the arrow button and the Subset Content side will be updated. By clicking on the element you can change its order in the subset.
After adding all elements click on the Save&Close button.

Dynamic Subset:
Click on the + sign to create a new subset, input a name for it, and click the “check” button.
Click on the new subset. On the Configuration side, there are four fields:
KeepSubsetDynamic: after the subset creation by mdx it will become static
Automated MDX Type: Predefined mdx subsets
Automated MDX Base Element: dimension elements
SubsetExpression: Manually type an MDX subset(Only available if nothing is selected on Automated MDX Type)

Manage Security
Select Company from the sidebar. Click on the Security button.
Auto-create Groups button will activate security for the dimension for the first time. Set Create Root Only Group to Yes and press Auto-create Groups.

Create Groups button will create a new security group. Complete the new group name then click Add Groups.

To modify the dimension security, is needed to select a subset and a group.
Permission Level - set the permission level
Permission Type
Recursive -apply the same permission level to all children of that element ( if the elements do not have any permission set)
Point - apply permission only to the specific element
Click on Update Security after the permissions are set up, select the group, and press Update Security
